{"id":8616,"date":"2021-02-23T10:42:43","date_gmt":"2021-02-23T10:42:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/toscanolex.es\/?p=8616"},"modified":"2021-02-23T10:42:45","modified_gmt":"2021-02-23T10:42:45","slug":"margins-of-error-for-speed-cameras","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toscanolex.es\/en\/margins-of-error-for-speed-cameras\/","title":{"rendered":"MARGINS OF ERROR FOR SPEED CAMERAS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THE SUPREME SETS CRITERION ON THE MARGINS OF ERROR OF SPEED CAMERAS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, STS No. 184\/2018 of April 17, has come to establish that mobile speed cameras that perform the corresponding measurement of speed from a fixed location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tripods or in cars that are stopped,<strong><br>has a margin of error of 5 and not 7,<br><\/strong>so it comes to be attributed to this type of devices the same margin as the fixed ones (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dgt.es\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DGT<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By bringing that criterion in line, the Court has dismissed the appeal brought by a driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was recorded by a radar while driving at a speed of 214 km per hour, against the Judgment of the Provincial Court of Navarra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This entity imposed a fine of 1,080 euros, as well as the corresponding ban on driving for one year and one day for an offence against road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For all this, since&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/toscanolex.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>TOSCANOLEX<\/strong><\/a>, we want to echo all those news that may interest you for your day to day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Something as common as driving and the possibility of committing an offence against road safety if these pre-set margins are not met.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE SUPREME SETS CRITERION ON THE MARGINS OF ERROR OF SPEED CAMERAS The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, STS [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[58],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-8616","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
