{"id":8893,"date":"2022-03-15T07:59:23","date_gmt":"2022-03-15T07:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/toscanolex.es\/?p=8893"},"modified":"2022-03-15T08:01:11","modified_gmt":"2022-03-15T08:01:11","slug":"can-a-trial-be-repeated-if-the-accused-has-not-said-his-last-word","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toscanolex.es\/en\/can-a-trial-be-repeated-if-the-accused-has-not-said-his-last-word\/","title":{"rendered":"CAN A TRIAL BE REPEATED IF THE ACCUSED HAS NOT SAID HIS LAST WORD?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Supreme Court has considered a criminal trial to be void because the Judge did not respect at the end of the trial the right of the accused to give his last word. \ud83d\udcd6 Therefore, the criminal trial may be repeated again if the accused has not said his last word.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The right to the last word guarantees the right to self-defence of the accused.
