En los últimos años  ha venido produciéndose un mayor interés por el desarrollo de actividades recreativas y deportivas  en la naturaleza, lo que  ha conllevado  un aumento  en las estancias en medios rurales para su destino como uso turístico.

            ¿Qué es un alojamiento turístico rural? Son viviendas  sitas en el medio rural,  que  tienen carácter independiente  y que  están destinadas para su uso temporal o estacional y sólo prestan servicio de alojamiento. Su capacidad máxima son 20 plazas.

Deberán estar amuebladas y disponer de los enseres necesarios para su inmediata utilización.

Requisitos mínimos:

1. Los accesos deberán estar convenientemente señalizados. Los propietarios/as deberán facilitara la persona usuaria información sobre este particular, pudiendo realizarse a través de croquis o plano de localización. El camino deberá ser practicable para vehículos de turismos.

En el supuesto de que no fuera así, excepcionalmente, la persona propietaria tendrá que facilitar el transporte desde y hasta el alojamiento.
