This new regulation makes it mandatory to register any property used for vacation or medium-term rentals in a new Single Rental Registry managed by the Land Registry (Registro de la Propiedad).

Until now, it was sufficient to register your property in the Andalusian Tourism Registry. From July 2025 onward, that is no longer enough. All properties rented as vacation homes (VFT) or for periods longer than two months that do not serve as the tenant’s main residence must now also be registered in the new legal registry.
The registry is official, binding, and non-compliance may lead to legal consequences.
Who needs to register?
